Exercise-Induced Asthma

Exercise-induced asthma, or sports asthma, is a disorder in which vigorous exercise triggers the airways in the lungs to narrow (a condition known as bronchoconstriction). The primary symptoms are coughing, chest tightness, shortness of breath and wheezing.

At Allergy and Asthma Care, we conduct diagnostic tests for exercise-induced asthma using a treadmill.

Contact our office using the secure online appointment request form if you think you or your child needs to be tested for exercise-induced asthma.
